Meet the Doctors

Both doctors studied at the prestigious school Palmer College of Chiropractic where they earned their doctorate of chiropractic degrees in 2008.  Before graduation they had the chance to volunteer their time providing chiropractic care to under-privileged residents of Brazil and Vietnam, a very humbling and rewarding experience.   After having worked in Nashville and Brentwood in other chiropractors offices, they have now decided to open up their own practice in Fairview, TN. With the expected arrival of their first child this November, Dr. Jolynne is not taking on new patients until she returns from maternity leave. She is anxious to come back and share with you all she is learning about a chiropractor's role in pregnancy and pediatrics. Together, it is their goal to educate families of the importance of taking care of their spines so they too can lead a healthful and active life well into their golden years.

Dr. Jolynne moved to Tennessee from a small town near Chicago, IL called Channahon.  The first time she had ever heard of chiropractic was from her older brother Brian who is also a practicing doctor in Florida.  He introduced to her the body’s ability to heal itself properly when the spine is in alignment through an adjustment.  After earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois in 2004, she went on to follow in her brother’s footsteps at Palmer College of Chiropractic.  She has worked in Brentwood and Nashville as an associate as well as a “cover doc,” gaining experience in many offices with patients of all ages and varying clinical cases.  She is certified in Webster technique and currently pursuing a certification in pediatrics and prenatal care through the ICPA. Aside from chiropractic, Dr. Jolynne’s interests lie in playing and watching team sports, movies, yoga, live music, her family and friends, and the outdoors.

Dr. Jake grew up on a farm near Charter Oak, Iowa.  He began suffering from knee pain in high-school which limited his ability to participate in sports.  He visited a chiropractor for a school project and received a treatment.  The relief he felt afterwards convinced him that this was a career he could dedicate his life to.  He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2005 and his doctorate from Palmer College in 2008.  He went on to practice in Brentwood, TN at Maryland Farms Chiropractic from 2009 to 2011.  Outside the office, you can find Jake playing music, enjoying the outdoors, and running with his dogs Hoda and Ruby.
